Chalet Stovald is a 3250 square foot vacation home in a small community in the foothills of Mt. Hood on the beautiful Sandy River. The Cabin sleeps 14 people in 4 bedrooms and has 2 1/2 bathrooms on three floors. The three bedroom + bunkroom arrangement makes the house ideal for two or three families. Chalet Stovald is convenient to area attractions including hiking trails right outside the front door, a community pool and tennis court in the summer, a grocery store, and several restaurants. Government Camp is about a 20-minute drive away. We think there is nothing better than spending a warm day on a lake or trail, or a cold day in the snow, and returning to the peaceful sounds of the Sandy River outside or a cozy fire inside.
